This is a shorter (2:30) and much more graphic and demented version of CAT CIAO made just for Spike & Mike's Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation. Break out the champagne! Cat Ciao
is finally available on DVD for purchase. Cat Ciao is part of
the illustrious lineup of great CG shorts in a nicely packaged DVD
from the same producer of "Mind's Eye" and "Beyond Mind's Eye" called
COMPUTER ANIMATION JOURNEYS. Here is the lineup many of
which I'm sure you have seen before:

and myself made an impromptu appearance at this year's Siggraph2001
in Los Angeles for an interview on the making of CatCiao. Turns out
Cat Ciao has been invited to be part of the upcoming premiere
episode of Dash's Animation House
program on TechTV, a nationally-televised cable show. Spaz will be in
good company along with some really great shorts that you'll just have
to tune in to find out. Look for it Fall 2001, end of September they tell me. Stay tuned! |
